First finish for 2014

I took on more responsibility at work, some days just kick my butt.  So not much sewing done lately.  The last two weeks I have been catching up.

When the spring weather breaks I will be outside so I have finished red and white,  and also got a start on another before I am out playing in the dirt.

Approaching another finish

The red and white is in the final stages.  I love love love this one!!  I like each quilt I make but I like both the pattern for this and the monochrome color.

After a very long day at work, and yoga I now sit to watch another episode of Sons of Anarchy and work on some binding.

Sandwiched and ready to quilt

I started this one less than a year ago and I have it ready to be quilted!   Prep and started at home but the majority was done at retreat in November.   Check this out..I'm lovin it. I sandwiched it yesterday when I had a day off work for MLK day.  I hope I can start to sew one evening this week.

And yet another

I have had more starts and so far finishes this year since I began this quilting hobbie/obsession/therapy about 10 years ago.  And here is the most recent...it will be red scraps with a white with red flecks as the background.
