Finishing touches
I have finished the binding on the second of three graduation quilts. Yeah me! Ahead of schedule. On to quilt and bind the third....don't know when this will happen as the weather is getting nicer and my calendar is very busy. Life happens.

Traveling with kids...lots of kids
My daughter is in her senior year of high school. The band scheduled as trip to Disney World. The time is here and I am traveling with 187 high school kids on 4 buses. An 18 hour drive quickly turned into 24 when our bus broke down. A lot of sitting and waiting...The upside is that it rained really hard during this time and although we were hanging out on a broke bus, we were dry. We hung out charging phones in the gas station bathroom and made the best of things. Kids were awesome winners not winers!
We missed some time in animal kingdom but today we are headed to Epcot. Weather forecast looks promising for today.

More Winter
This has been the story of winter here since mid December. This is the 7th day schools have been closed. The kids haven't had a full week of school since mid December. No focus. It has got to be harder than ever in these circumstances to be a teacher.
I'm just about finished with my first pot of coffee and think I will spend the day with my sewing machine...hoping that we don't lose power with all this snow.
There is at least 12 inches out there now and it's still coming. There was already about 4 inches on the ground before today. We are located in the red streak of this latest pic. I'm not even thinking about starting the snow blower until it slows down.

Boy Scout Sunday
My guys and I have enjoyed many years of involvement with Boy Scouts of America. Today we recognize the founder Lord Baden Powell.
A little time this past week was spent to make sure uniforms were updated with the latest patches and the sash with badges.
